Food Tasting :)

~ The Old Spaghetti House ~

We had a quick lunch at  " The Old Spaghetti House " in Robinson's Place, Malate Manila. Too bad I can't remember anymore the exact name of the food I ordered haha. But it was great, the ambiance is just right maybe because it was a late lunch so it wasn't crowded at all. The service is just as great, attentive and accomodating.

~ Pizza Hut Bistro ~

This is one of my frequent trips in " Pizza Hut Bistro " in Glorrieta 3, Makati City. This is by far the only bistro of Pizza Hut where the waiters and waitresses are in E.O.P Policy Meaning they speak the english language and a great example of this was when a waiter took my pizza order. I ordered for ' Pizza Super Supreme ' and he replied right away with a shy smile and a script that says: ' GREAT CHOICE, THAT'S OUR BEST SELLER '.  with all enthusiam ( hahahaha!!! ) and there were also some side comments that I can't remember anymore. But it had always been a pleasure dining with them because of great service, cozy and warm ambiance.

 ~ Chowking ~

It was only recently that I learned to love the chowking lauriat and whenever I have one it always feel like a little bit of everything and I'm always satisfied. I visited chowking at Divisoria and in Salcedo Makati only. I don't eat beef but I was able to taste their almuchow beef tapa in Pampangga and it tasted good for someone who hates beef meat hehe! I don't visit them during lunch time there's a long queue of people for sure, I just go there when I feel like having a little bit of everything on my plate.

 ~ Tokyo
  Tokyo ~

This was a recent trip in Tokyo-Tokyo Market Market, Taguig City ( May 2010). I am learning to like this California Maki and the last time we went I hardly tasted it ewan ko ba hahaha contradicting minsan ang taste buds ko sa kanya. Anyhow, I enjoyed my chicken and Fried Prawn. Light meal lang coz yung rice na sinerve was malagkit hehe, great for diet yata yun kasi konti lang nakain ko. :)

~ SM Foodcourt
               in Makati City ~

I love going to SM foodcourt if I want to have many food choices aside frm the fact that it's a lot cheaper you get to have a lot of options, meaning more weights to add on! hahaha. I particularly like the 'Spicy Fish with Pandan Rice at ____. I also love the Buko Pandan with crashed iced. I tried the Special Batchoy with hard boiled egg and the Fried Lumpia for Merienda. These are just few of what I have tasted sa foodcourt ng SM hhahaha, di nman ako mashadong mahilig kumain dun. (ehem). :)

 ~ NORTH
      PARK~

I remember my first ever dine in experience with North Park was at a Macapagal Highway, it was a birthday treat from a good friend and although it was one uncomfortable experience because I was with new found friends it was indeed a one of a kind dine in experience that I will never forget. It led me to one of the most exciting treats and opened a new experiences for me. Like the many varieties of dishes offered by NP, I get to experienced a lot of things too. Some are exciting others are just as memorable. My all time favotite would be the ' Honey Lemon Chicken' partnered with " Yang Chow '. I love their ' Pork Siomai and Fried Shark's Fin ' and to top it all i luuuurrrve their ' Lechon Macau '.  Now, I'm enjoying their branches at G5 Makati and Ayala Branch just outside my office. Since then I have yet to visit NP in Macapagal Highway, but who knows I will , one day. Enjoy the food. :)

~ Shakey's ~

I was never a big fan of Shakey's until I tasted their Tropical Bacon super duper uber thin crust pizza. hehehe. It was a surprise for me to like how it tasted because I think I was the only little girl who grew up disliking bacons. I don't know but I never learned to love it as much as I do with hotdogs. So, going to Shakey's and tasting their tropical bacon thin crust was a major reason why I am now a frequent diner at Shakey's Glorrieta 3 branch. I loooove their chicken served with mojo's and garlic parmesan on the side. Seafood marinara tastes heaven too, a secret to complete my not so overloaded shakey's food trip.haha!

~ Johnny Rockets ~

I first heard of this Resto when I was browsing the internet looking for a good place to dine with my friends who are coming over here in Manila. As I was searching through the list of potential restaurants I came across Jonny Rockets. What caught my attention was their collections of vintage photographs of Coca-cola hung against the wall on one of the photos posted on the net. My curiosity was fueled even more when I learned that they keep an old jukebox inside the store with all those oldies but goodies upbeat songs. The crew also dances to whatever tune there is as long as it's not crowded. I checked where could I possibly find them and indeed they are located in Eastwood. I planned my trip to JR right away and I luckily chance upon a newspaper the following day and I discovered that they have a branch too in Robinso's Galleria, good thing coz it's nearer my place. I and Zief went to taste their mouthwatering quarter pound burger, never ending dose of french fries (non grease, love it!!! ), and a milkshake. Yummy! I must say that a single order would be enough for two people. It's a whole lot experience and I get to see the crew dances  to the tune of ' staying alive ' hahahaha.. It's a good place to unwind and enjoy the food.

~ Greenwich ~

The only time you'd see me eating in Greenwhich would be for one good reason, ' Lasagna '. I don't know what's with it, nothing speacil really but I think their Lasagna has become my comfort food so if I'm in no rush and in no interest to dine some place else, you'd find me enjoying the softness of lasagna greenwhich special. I also tried their onion rings with rice, it doesn't taste good though, sorry...
